Oklahoma universities delay spring classes due to virus

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Oklahoma's two largest universities on Tuesday announced that they were delaying the start of the spring semester by a week and were canceling spring break because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Spring classes will begin Jan. 19 at Oklahoma State University and on Jan. 25 at the University of Oklahoma, and both schools canceled their spring breaks in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19.
"This has been a challenging time but we have worked together diligently to deliver both in-person and online classes successfully," OSU President Burns Hargis said in a statement....
