Freedom School Board prepares for Election Day

As a fitful October wind brushed dry leaves down the street in front of the Freedom Public School on Monday evening, the school's board of education met inside to discuss upcoming fall activities and the November election.

Two favorite activities – the fall carnival and Red Ribbon Week – will take place in the next weeks.

The Freedom Schools Fall Carnival will be Saturday, Oct. 24, at the American Legion. Dinner will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The carnival itself will be 7-9 p.m. Games and activities will include hoop shoot, putt putt golf, a petting zoo, punching bag, ball toss, prize wheel, Hall...
