Students deliver lunches

Freedom High School students will start hand delivering meals to the elderly and others who may struggle getting out and around beginning on Monday, Oct. 19. It will cost the individual $5 per meal. The area coverage will include Camp Houston to the town of Freedom. Teachers will drive the students door-to-door and the meal will be delivered between12 to 12:20 daily.
If you want a lunch delivered, please let the school know the day before by 3:30 p.m. at 580-621-3271 or text Mr. Weber at 580-227-6023 the day before. Lunch menus will be posted on the school’s Facebook page and the Freedom Call newspaper. If you have more questions, please call Freedom Public School at 580-621-3271.

Monday: No school
Tuesday: Bacon cheeseburger, fries, vegetable, fruit, milk
Wednesday: Fajita chicken casserole, vegetable, fruit, milk
Thursday: Chili, cornbread, vegetable, fruit, milk
Friday: Chicken stir fry, fried rice, fruit and milk
