South Barber's Halloween Parade takes a ghoulish twist for safety

You'll soon see little princesses, cowboys, witches, monsters and action figures converging on streets across the nation for Halloween parades.

South Barber School in Kiowa plans to hold their Halloween Downtown Parade on Friday, Oct. 30, at 2:30 p.m. Elementary Assistant Principal Kaynette Scheck said that “safety is always a priority at the school.” Due to COVID-19 concerns, the school has added a few extra safety measures to their protocol. • Anyone handing out or handling candy must wear gloves.
