Kansas man dies when truck collides with train near Udall

UDALL, Kan. (AP) — A man from Wichita died when his pickup truck was struck by a train southeast of Udall, the Kansas Highway Patrol said.
Mike Saengsavath died in the collision Saturday. The patrol said his pickup was struck by the train after he failed to yield at a railroad crossing.
A passenger in the pickup, 55-year old Chomchanh Khaikham, also of Wichita, was seriously injured and taken to a Wichita hospital.
The operators of the train were not injured....
