Alva has a new social media star. He might even be termed an “influencer.” The debonair young fellow has been spotted all over town and is creating quite a stir. His name is Hamlet Houdini, and he’s a black pig.

He first came to our attention while he was touring downtown. People gave chase, and an intrepid law enforcement officer finally managed a capture.

Hamlet’s surname comes from his ability to escape pens, no matter how secure. No one knows why he likes to explore. Maybe he just wants to socialize. Perhaps he was born with a need to see more of the world.
