Lawrence woman dies after being trapped under her car

LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) — A 29-year-old woman died after she was trapped under her vehicle Monday while it was being put on a tow truck, Lawrence police said.
The car was being pulled on to a tow truck at the woman's home when it began to roll. She was behind it and became trapped underneath, police spokesman Patrick Compton said.
The vehicle was in neutral and it was not clear why it rolled, he said.
Compton did not know who was present during the incident, The Lawrence Journal-World reported.
