AWESOME TORNADO AND CHIEFTAIN STUDENTS OF THE MONTH – South Barber Superintendent Dr. Mylo Miller said he had a great lunch with the October Students of the Month. He said favorite teachers that the students mentioned were: Ms. Rooks, Ms. Jewell, Mr. Erickson, Ms. Ricke and Ms. Scheck. He said, "We are thankful to our community and friends at First State Bank of Kiowa for sponsoring our Students of the Month Program. Thank you!" These students are winners for October. They had just finished a pizza lunch with the superintendent. They are, from left: Brantley Stroh (kindergarten), Paxton Clark (sixth grade), Lily Schurter (seventh grade), and Caden Rathgeber (11th grade). Their parents received a letter in the mail with the nomination from their teacher, a certificate of recognition, a T-shirt, and lunch with the Superintendent.
