Area prisons have increasing numbers of Covid cases

Prisons are again added to the number of active cases of Covid in area communities. On Tuesday, the Oklahoma Department of Corrections listed 67 active cases at Bill Johnson Correctional Center in Alva and 87 testing positive at James Crabtree Correctional Center in Helena. The numbers include both inmates and staff.
As a result, Alva is listed with 147 active cases. Subtracting the BJCC cases still leaves 80 others in Alva. On the other hand, Helena has 89 cases, and if JCCC cases are subtracted that leaves two other active cases.
