School board candidate filing set to begin Monday, Dec. 7

Candidates for the boards of education in nine Alfalfa County school districts will file their declarations of candidacy beginning at 8 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 7, and continuing Tuesday, Dec. 8 and Wednesday, Dec. 9, Alfalfa County Election Board Secretary Kelly Stein said today.
Stein said the official filing period ends at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 9. All candidate filings will occur at the Alfalfa County Election Board office, 602 W. 5th St. Ste 3, Cherokee, Stein said.
