The Mooreland Bearcats hosted their first-round football playoff game and soundly beat the Mangum Tigers 38 to 13. Mooreland will travel to Minco for round two of the playoffs Friday.

In the first possession, the Bearcats scored in two plays. Ridge Proviance (No. 21) set it up with a kick return of 26 yards so that the offense could start on Mangum’s 43. Carter Sampson connected with Conner Scarborough (No. 27) who stepped out at the 27, and Sampson scored by running it up the middle. The score read Mooreland 6 – Mangum 0.
