Oklahoma reports 2,200 more coronavirus cases

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Oklahoma reported 2,200 more coronavirus cases on Monday as overall cases in the state neared the 200,000 mark.

The Oklahoma State Department of Health also reported seven more deaths, bringing the total to 1,743 deaths since the pandemic began. All of the deaths reported Monday involved people who were 65 years old or older.

So far, Oklahoma has reported 197,745 cases of COVID-19, the illness linked to the coronavirus.

The actual number of COVID-19 cases is believed to be far higher because many people haven't been tested and some who get the disease don't show symptoms....
