Woman facing murder counts for Oklahoma crash that killed 4

EL RENO, Okla. (AP) — A woman has been charged with four counts of second-degree murder for a wrong-way crash that killed a family of four in October in central Oklahoma.

Charges were filed Thursday against 33-year-old Ashley Louise Ricks, of Moore, according to court records.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol alleges that Ricks was going the wrong way on Interstate 40 near El Reno at about 1:30 a.m. on Oct. 17 when she slammed head on into a vehicle with three adults and a girl.
