Holiday lights sparkle through the iridescent colors of stained glass in a display by Taren Earnest. The Alva native is among artists featured in the Christmas show at Graceful Arts Gallery in Alva this month.
Earnest's work features poinsettias, reindeer and other Christmas themes with a little Thanksgiving sprinkled into the mix. The bold colors add a bit of magic to the holiday season.
After growing up in Alva and attending Northwestern Oklahoma State University, Earnest was staying in Wichita for a while. A small shop caught her eye, and she went inside where she was intrigued by the stain...
