New Oklahoma virus cases top 4,300, daily average tops 3,000

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — There were 4,370 newly reported coronavirus cases Saturday in Oklahoma according to the state health department and the seven-day rolling average of new cases has topped 3,000 per day.

The rolling averages of new cases rose from 2,843 per day on Nov. 20 to 3,044 on Friday and daily average of deaths increased from 15.7 daily to 22.3 during the same period, according to Johns Hopkins University data. The rolling average of the positivity rate declined from 17.1% on Nov. 20 to 16.3% Friday.
