Coeta Colleen Wells was born October 8, 1934, in Freedom, Oklahoma, to Floyd Daniel and Addie Pearl Bonner Morland. She died Sunday, December 6, 2020, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 86 years.

Coeta was reared and educated in Freedom, and was a graduate of Freedom High School. She was married October 2, 1953, in Alva, Oklahoma, to Joe Dean Wells. They had made their home in Owasso since 1977. Coeta spent most of her working life as a homemaker and caring for her family.
