'Think positive but be negative'

"Typical government deal, they want lots of paper," Share Medical Assistant CFO Steve Knox says of the sheaf of paperwork in his hands. That stack represents documentation for the last two months of spending for various Covid grants.

"Our new motto is: think positive but be negative," Share Convalescent Home Administrator Kelly Parker told the Alva Hospital Authority (AHA) trustees Wednesday. He said the nursing home is doing well with a lot of negative results on Covid tests. They've had only five active staff members testing positive and two residents. Of the two residents, one just came off isolation and the other was expected to be released in a few days.

Parker said although the facility is licensed for 80 beds, they have set aside an area with 16 beds for quarantining and isolating those with exposure or positive tes...
