However, this year when the Jolly Old Soul arrived in Kiowa he was honored to get into the old brown pickup of the late Bob Hays who passed away earlier this year. Santa rides down Main Street in Kiowa's Christmas parade Saturday evening. A multi-time president of Kiowa's Chamber of Commerce, Hays was known as Mr. Kiowa.
