In new business, the Woods County commissioners approved a request by the health department to set up a tent on the courthouse lawn on Monday, Dec. 21. The purpose is to provide testing to the general public for the Covid-19 virus. Hours of operation had not been determined.

Commissioner John Smiley said the Sundance Wind Energy project has about 20 wind turbines up. Materials for the remaining 50-plus turbines are onsite waiting for installation.
