With Christmas quickly approaching and the year coming to an end, the commissioners of Alfalfa County took time to award six-month bids. Jay Hague, Stan Tucker and Marvin Woodall (Mike Roach, who will be seated as commissioner of District 2 in January, was in the gallery to observe the bid awarding process), pored over the material and, more often than not, awarded the vendors who came in with the lowest bids. Some items were awarded based on availability.
