Kiowa's city council met for its regular monthly meeting Dec. 14. Mayor Bill Watson called the meeting to order with the flag salute and prayer by Councilmember R.L. Simpson. All members attended: Brian Hill, Tom Wells, B.J. Duvall and Jason Thayer. New City Administrator Sam Demel sat at the council table as did City Attorney Brandon Ritcha and City Clerk Trish Brewer.

Christmas bonuses and salary adjustments were approved by the council after their second executive session at the end of the meeting. They took no action after the first executive session.
