Waynoka Schools' expenditures recovering from Covid hit

Christmas break at Waynoka Schools began Dec. 19; students will return to class Monday, Jan. 4, according to a report in the Woods County Enterprise.

Superintendent Scott Cline reported on the school's finances. Expenditures have normalized again after higher-than-usual expenses earlier in the year related to Covid-19, cleaning and personal protective equipment. Revenue is about $200,000 lower than at this time last year; no ad valorem money has been collected yet. Daycare expenditures are about $50,000 but daycare revenue is only about $18,000.
