Alfalfa County commissioners commemorate the retirement of one of their own

The Alfalfa County commissioners enjoyed a short agenda Monday morning, just in time to enjoy outgoing District 2 commissioner Stan Tucker's retirement party immediately after. Tucker's four-year tenure officially ends this week as commissioner elect Mike Roach (who was in the gallery) is scheduled to be sworn in Monday, Jan. 4.

Tucker, Jay Hague and Marvin Woodall started by approving the last meeting's minutes and signing payroll and maintenance and operation payment warrants. This week there were no blanket purchase orders or road-cross permits.
