Roy Arthur Copenhaver peacefully departed this earth on December 26, 2020, at his home in Longton, Kansas.

Roy was born to Thomas Clifford and Grace (Stephens) Copenhaver on September 30, 1926, at the family's home in Aline, Oklahoma, and graduated from Dacoma High School.

Roy was drafted into the Army during World War II and served from December 5, 1945, through January 31, 1947, primarily in Korea. He was awarded the WWII Victory Medal of Honor, and the Army of Occupation Medal.

Roy was married to Carmen Edwards in 1955 in 1955, Dorothy Hoover in 1970, and later Sandra George in 1996. Roy wa...
