Steve Madrid, PA-C is now seeing patients at the Share Medical Downtown Clinic and on Wednesdays in the Freedom Clinic.
Some people decide on a career early and pursue a straight path to that goal. That wasn't the case for Steve Madrid, PA-C. He went from working in an auto parts store to becoming a medical lab technician before finally deciding he wanted to be a physician's assistant.
The soft-spoken Madrid was taken by surprise when this reporter showed up a week early for an interview. He graciously agreed to go ahead with the visit in his office in Share Medical Center's Downtown Clinic. Madrid moved to that location in early November where he shares a practice with Dr. Bryce Galbraith.
