Alva Goldbugs win seventh place at Wheat Capital

Covid issues cancel girls' game

The Alva Ladybugs were set to play Woodward for fifth place honors in the Wheat Capital Tournament at Chisholm Saturday, but that game was canceled. Contract tracing was going on to determine exposure to the coronavirus but the Alva girls could not play. The JV girls also had to drop out of the Cherokee tournament on Saturday. It is not yet known whether the Ladybugs will be able to play in next weekend's scheduled games.
