Candidates for municipal office in Woods County municipalities may file Declarations of Candidacy beginning at 8 a.m. Monday, Feb. 1.

Sandra Koehn, secretary of the county election board, said the filing period ends at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3.

Declarations of Candidacy will be accepted at the county election board office for the indicated offices for each of the following municipalities:

City of Alva – 4-year terms

City Treasurer Ward 1, Seat 1

Ward 2, Seat 1

Ward 3, Seat 1

Ward 4, Seat 1

City of Waynoka – 4-year terms

Ward 1, Seat 2

Ward 2, Seat 2

Ward 3, Seat 2
