Ladybugs lose to Oklahoma Union 53-39

After defeating Commerce in the opening round, the Alva Ladybugs faced Oklahoma Union (OKU) Friday night in the Pawhuska Tournament. The Class 2A Lady Cougars came into the game with an 8-5 record while the Class 3A Ladybugs were at 9-5.
The OKU team got off to a fast start, racking up seven points before Alva could score. The Lady Cougars continued to out-score the Alva team finishing the game with Oklahoma Union in front 53-39.
