Floyd Leroy Thomas, 85, of Kiowa, Kansas, died January 26, 2021, surrounded by family.

He was born the youngest of nine children on November 23, 1936, in Fargo, Oklahoma, the son of the late Harvey Edward Thomas and Phillipine Florence Arnold. Floyd attended the local country school in Fargo and was put to work on the farm at a young age. Later, he moved to Hazelton, Kansas, and lived with his sister. It was there he met Wanda Lou Hill, his wife of 63 years.

Floyd worked for Coontz Implement in Kiowa as a hay equipment mechanic for many years. Floyd and Wanda adopted Debbie Kaye and Susan Dian...
