Races have developed in three of the four municipalities in Woods County for the April 6 election. Dacoma is the only town without a race.

Alva Filings

Incumbent Trent Goss has filed for Alva city treasurer, and Heather Penner has also filed for that office.

For city council in Ward 1, Seat 1 incumbent Daniel D. Winters has filed, Tim Bradley and Justin Scribner have also filed for that seat.

Filing for Ward 2, Seat 1 are Taylor Dowling and Mark Nichols.

Candidates for Ward 3, Seat 1 are Troy Brooks and Dalton Beeler. Peter D. Nesseralla withdrew his filing.
