This week we will finish Exodus, reading chapters 22-40. The middle chapters of Exodus tell of Moses receiving the law from God on the mountain. We usually think of the law as the Ten Commandments, but it was so much more. There were laws about property and damages, animals, slaves, sacrifices and feasts. There were laws about penalties and restitutions. God was and is particular about how his people behave. The Old Testament is for our learning and we can learn a lot about who God is and who we are.
