Beer choices were once limited to Budweiser, Coors, Miller and Pabst Blue Ribbon. That’s what you found on the shelf at convenience stores 50 years ago. Now we have all sorts of craft beers but none of them has less than 4.1 % alcohol.
There is a growing demand for beer that is alcohol free. There are two non-alcoholic beers that clock in at 0.5% and Budweiser is working on Bud Zero, the first truly alcohol-free beer. Changing customer taste combined with non-alcohol beer sales up 38% last year is fueling the movement.
