This week I’m sending out questionnaires to all the candidates for Alva city offices. In the weeks leading up to the April 6 election, we plan to feature information from the candidates who respond. There are a dozen candidates vying for five Alva offices, and I don’t know some of them.
Alva City Council candidates must live in the ward in which they filed. However, all Alva voters will vote on all the candidates. I may live in Ward 4, but I get to help decide who represents us in each of the four wards.
