Alyssa Russell is the 17-year-old daughter of Brenda and Rodney Mustard. Born on July 21, she ended up being the youngest in her class of all boys.

Alyssa has seven siblings, three by blood and four by marriage. Her favorite subject in school is Family and Consumer Science (FACS) class with Mrs. Elliot where she is currently making a quilt. In school she is involved in Student Council, band, and vocal.

She enjoys writing short stories, reading and playing video games. Her favorite book series is "The Inheritance Cycle." She said she needs to re-read them sometime soon.
