Oklahoma virus vaccinations top 1.2 million, 978 new cases

 


OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — More than 1.2 million Oklahomans have now received at least one dose of the coronavirus vaccine, according to federal Centers for Disease Control data on Saturday.

The data showed 19.9% of Oklahomans have been given at least one dose to rank 10th in the nation, according to the CDC and that more than 477,000 of the 1.2 million vaccinated in the state have received two doses of the vaccine.

There were a reported 978 new virus cases for a total of 428,536 since the state's first case was reported one year ago, according to the Oklahoma State Department of Health. The health...
