Andrew Reed, son of Sadie (Shaddy) and Burrel Reed, was born on September 5, 1932, in Aline, Oklahoma. He passed away on March 2, 2021, in Alva, Oklahoma, at the age of 88 years, 5 months and 25 days.

In Jake's younger years he grew up on a farm in the Aline area. When he left the farm he became a professional painter for a number of years. He then worked for the State of Oklahoma Highway Department out of Cherokee until his retirement.

He loved to sing and play music. His passion was working with wood in his workshop. He also loved to go fishing. He had a lot of fish stories to tell and enter...
