Rangers finish ninth at Battle for the Belt

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – The Northwestern men's golf team finished up the Battle for the Belt on Tuesday, March 9, at the Hot Springs Country Club hosted by Henderson State. The Rangers recorded a ninth-place finish in Hot Springs.

The Red and Black posted a 963-team score after three rounds.

Luke Cooley led Northwestern after he finished the tournament tied for 28th place. Cooley carded an eagle and a final score of 77-78-77 – 232.

Ben Baker carded an 83 after his first round and improved the second round by five shots after turning in a score of 78. The next day, Baker recorded a 79 to finish the...
