Pepe Le Pew (the girl-hugging skunk) was found dead in the middle of the highway. Witnesses said he mumbled something about never meaning to be anything but entertainment before running out on the highway in front of the station wagon. A group of thin-skinned idiots that were offended about his cartoon antics were singing "Dead Skunk in the Middle of the Road" along the side of the highway.
