The Burlington Public School Board held a special meeting earlier in March to consider employment of several educators.
After executive sessions, the board took several actions. They re-employed Stan Pedersen as elementary principal for the 2021-2022 school year.
The board accepted the resignation of Tim Bart, principal; the resignation of Jessica Smith, Title I Reading; and the resignation of Jade Jones, girls athletics.
The board expressed their appreciation for those employees who resigned, for their time and service at Burlington School and wished each of them the best.
