After a 29-year career teaching science in the public schools, I had come to terms with the Creation vs. Science dilemma and when Covid-19 struck, I was convinced that it would be “Science to the rescue,” a belief that many came to doubt.

It took months to develop, test and approve a vaccine, and in the meantime people chose to politicize the wearing of masks and social distancing, even to the point of holding “Covid parties” staged in the face of uncertain infection and death.
