Burlington extends early administrative contract to incoming superintendent

Burlington's Board of Education held a brief special meeting in March. The item of business regarded the newly hired superintendent Kevin Brown who is to start this summer with the retirement of Dr. Stacey Croft, effective at the end of June.
The board voted to place Brown on administrative contract for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year for the purpose of allowing him to make employment recommendations. The contract for Brown is for the time period of March 9, 2021 to June 30, 2021.
