Foundation provides grant to Cherokee Schools

The LaWilda Bishop Reitz Foundation recently presented a grant to the Cherokee Public Schools. The $2,000 will be used for the Dolly Parton Imagination Library program providing free books to preschool children. Each child will receive a specially selected book each month, sent directly to their homes.

LaWilda Bishop Reitz is 95 years old and lives with family members in Oklahoma City. She still heads the foundation that supports programs for pre-K and elementary school age children.
