Alva Community Theatre workday open to adult volunteers

Cinderella's glass slipper collection and four decades plus of costumes are among the items that ACT I workday organizer Kathi Jenlink will be directing volunteers to sort through on April 24.

Volunteer workers will begin at 8: a.m. on Saturday, April 24 to revitalize and refresh Alva Community Theatre Inc. for the 2021 season.

According to organizer Kathi Jenlink, the workday is open to all adult and high school aged community volunteers. Middle school students and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Work times are flexible starting at 8 a.m., and volunteers who only have an hour or so to work can come and go as needed.

Volunteers are asked to wear comfortable clothes that they do not mind getting dirty. Masks will be provided to those who do not have one.
