Woods County 522 EMS Board applications available

Last week, the Woods County commissioners approved an application form for those interested in serving on the county’s 522 EMS District Board. County voters approved the 522 district, which will collect an ad valorem tax from county land owners for financial support of the three emergency medical services districts in the county at Alva, Freedom and Waynoka.

The Woods County commissioners are tasked with appointing a board to oversee the distribution of the revenue. They are currently taking applications from Woods County residents.
