2021 Football Golf Tournament information released

ALVA, Okla. – The 2021 Ranger Football Golf Tournament has been set; Northwestern Oklahoma State University head football coach Matt Walter announced.

The always popular early summer event will occur on June 5 at the Alva Golf and Country Club.

There will also be a hog roast and benefit auction the night before the tournament, June 4, at the AGCC. The all-you-can-eat hog roast, courtesy of the Rowdy Rangers, will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by the auction at 7:30.

On Saturday, there will be two tournament flights beginning at 7:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. The tournament format will be a four-person, best ball, 18-hole scramble. Registration will begin 30 minutes before the start time of each flight.

The entry fee for the tournament is $400 per team or $100 per individual player. The entry fee for the tournament is $400 per team or $100 per individual player. The entry fee includes:


• The green fee and cart,

• The Friday night hog roast,

• Saturday lunch, and

• NWOSU football shirt.

Mulligans will be available for $5, as will $5 automatic putts.

Legacy Tee options are available for the 2021 Ranger Golf Tournament for $50. The tee will be placed at a tee box, displaying the jersey number and years played at Northwestern. More information about the Legacy Tee and be obtained by contact Coach Walter at [email protected] or 580-327-8488.
