Johnny Moyer of Suddenlink spoke to Alva City Council members Monday, April 19, about renewal of the franchise agreement with the city. Moyer said the agreement is mostly the same as the one that expired in September 2020.

He said Suddenlink has hired 450 call center employees who are in training now to improve communication with customers. Field service and construction personnel had been operating under their own branch, but they have now been brought back under Suddenlink. He said this should reduce the problems such as missing appointments.
