The Alva Community Garden is getting ready for the spring growing season. The garden's organizers are excited to announce that raised garden beds will be available for lease to individuals or families who want to garden but may not have their own space.

If the weather cooperates, the community garden hopes to have the raised beds planted by mid-May. Plants and soil will be provided to the leasees. Leasees will sign an agreement with the Alva Community Garden agreeing to care for their garden bed as well as to abide by the garden’s rules for usage.
