COFFEYVILLE, Kan. (AP) — Coffeyville police are investigating a shooting death in the southeast Kansas town.

Officers were called a shooting Monday morning. Witnesses told police the victim, Christopher Temple, 46, has been taken by private vehicle to a Coffeyville hospital. Temple, of Coffeyville, was later flown to a Tulsa hospital, where he died, police said.

A suspect, Ruben Alfonso Ruiz, 24, of Coffeyville, was later arrested in New Mexico, Police Capt. Darin Daily said.
