Rolling average of coronavirus cases declines in Oklahoma

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — The rolling average of new coronavirus cases in Oklahoma each day has declined by 59.3% during the past two weeks, according to data from Johns Hopkins University on Saturday.

The data showed the daily average decreased by 351.3, from 592.3 on April 8 to 241 on April 22.

There have been 95 new cases per 100,000 people in Oklahoma during the past two weeks, which ranks 48th in the nation for new cases per capita.

The Oklahoma State Department of Health reports 202 people hospitalized with the virus on Friday.
