KIOWA WAS BUILT ALONG THE RAILROAD – The absolute hit of Kiowa's Pioneer Days Skit was the train created by the John and Tamara Bogatay children: the engine Charley, age 4; the car Luella, age 6; and the caboose Sam, age 2.

GIVES YOU GOOSEBUMPS – Every time you hear the roar of the motorcycle engines and see their red, white and blue American flags blowing in the wind, you get a lump in your throat. That's at area parades when the Legion Riders from Post 69 in Medicine Lodge roar into your parade. They were a patriotic hit at Kiowa's Pioneer Days Parade Saturday.
